Further reflections on suicide and psychache
Article Abstract:
Suicide in the eyes of a suicidal person is a psychache, or a pain in the mind, that is intolerable and unacceptable. This psychache that the suicidal person experiences is further maintained and energized by frustrated psychological needs. Since the entire suicidal drama is a play that unfolds exclusively on the stage of the mind of the suicidal person, it is necessary for psychotherapists and consultants working with such a person to use effective orthosuicidology, which involves 'rewriting' or 'recasting' the faulty final scene in the drama to avert a 'tragedy.'

Survivor siblings, the case of schizophrenia: a response to "Impact of Adolescent Suicide on Siblings and Parents" by Brent, Moritz, Bridge, Perper, and Canobbio
Article Abstract:
Dr. David Brent and his colleagues presented in their article 'Impact of Adolescent Suicide on Siblings and Parents' the results of case studies about suicide victims. The results which Brent cited seem to contradict one another. A series of studies on schizophrenic individuals seem to complement the studies described by Brent and company. The similarities suggest that siblings of survivors of various personal tragedies response in the same manner to such situations.
