More evidence on size modification in spatial axes systems of varying complexity
Article Abstract:
The relation among figure size, number of figures and different types of spatial axes systems is discussed. The study indicated that object-driven size reduction was the size regulation mechanisms in younger children, whereas axes-driven size reduction was the only factor regulating figure size in 12-year-old children.

Three-month-old infants' categorization of animals and vehicles based on static and dynamic attributes
Article Abstract:
Research has shown infants as young as 3 months are able to categorize images of vehicles and animals using dynamic or static information. Static and dynamic displays were found to produce a response demonstrating habituation to exemplars from identical categories and preference for novel-category exemplars.

Face recognition in 4- to 7-year olds: processing of configural, featural, and paraphernalia information
Article Abstract:
Young children have been seen to accurately process configural and featural face information within 5 seconds. However, the same research showed this process could be readily impaired by superfluous paraphernalia.
