Research trends in judgement and their implications for the Schmidt-Hunter global estimation procedure
Article Abstract:
The fractile method is used in a study of judgment research that elicits judgments on frequency distributions in three areas, specifically the laboratory setting, the field setting and in a comparison of alternative judgment models. Results indicate that utility analysis is a promising field in judgment research. Conservative judgments are made via the fractile method and a research model using the interaction of feedback and the level of knowledge as a moderator of conservative bias is presented.

Does feedback improve the accuracy of recurrent judgment forecasts?
Article Abstract:
Human judgment can be effectively aided by providing task information feedback. Findings show that task information feedback is more effective than performance outcome feedback. Results further reveal that adding cognitive information feedback to task information feedback did not significantly improve forecasting performance. Forecasting accuracy is also better with task feedback than either providing the actual value of the time series or providing performance outcome feedback.

The effects of stimulus medium and feedback on the judgement of rapport
Article Abstract:
The influence of cognitive feedback and outcome feedback on perceptions about rapport are studied. Subjects determined rapport levels shown in video clips of real-life social interactions and in graphical presentations of behavioral cues. Results show that cognitive feedback had more influence in the judgment of rapport in graphical displays while outcome feedback was more effective in video displays.
