Psycho-logic: the blind and context-free search for noncontingent 'truth.'
Article Abstract:
J. Smedslund's book 'Psycho-Logic' presents the results of an ambitious study on the metatheoretical status of psychological hypotheses that are tested empirically. In his later writings, Smedslund claims that there are empirical hypotheses that cannot be proven because they have a priori true or false meanings. However, some of Smedslund's conclusions are not valid because they are based on wrong assumptions.

Aversion, awareness, and attraction: Investigating claims of hyperacusis in the Williams syndrome phenotype
Article Abstract:
Williams syndrome (WS), a neurodevelopmental disorder, is characterized by pervasive cognitive deficits alongside a relative sparing of auditory perception and cognition. The results of the study indicate that people with WS present four unusual behaviors of auditory perception that include hyperacusis, odynacusis, auditory aversions, and auditory fascinations.
