Separation and comorbidity of hyperactivity and conduct disturbance in Chinese schoolboys
Article Abstract:
Hyperactivity (HA) in Chinese school boys is related to neurodevelopmental impairments, conduct disorders (CD) are related to family disharmony, and their hybrid condition exhibits the attributes of both. HA is unrelated to lower IQ. Chinese children with HA and CD exhibit differential associations similar to their Caucasian counterparts. The separation of HA from CD and their cross-cultural validity is favoured.
