The nature of infant color categorization: Evidence from eye movements on a target detection task
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted which investigates two issues first the infants categorical responding more absolute than adults categorical responding and the second is color categorization in infants truly perceptual. The results of both the experiments are discussed.

Color term knowledge does not affect categorical perception of color in toddlers
Article Abstract:
Language is not the origin of categorical perception and does not modify categorical perception in toddlers is demonstrated. Cross-cultural variations in adults' color categorizations are not truly perceptual and are actually a result of verbal labeling.
