The practical aspects of the bad influence of comic books
Article Abstract:
Comic books are deleterious to the mental health of children because they enhance the child's desire to translate aggressiveness to reality. Comic books act as outlets for children's aggression but they also expose children to violence that are patterned after real life situations. Violence in fairy tales is different from the violence that is depicted in comic books because children view fairy tales as forms of fantasy that cannot be translated in reality. However, comic books affect the mental health of children by exposing children to different forms of violence and crime.

The comic books and the public
Article Abstract:
Comic books are detrimental to the psychological development of children because they glorify violence and aggression. Comic books portray heroes and anthropomorphic animals that are idolized by children and comic books enthusiasts due to their rebellious and violent behavior. Furthermore, comic books provide children with a medium for escape from authority and civilized restraint. However, comic books focus on violence and bloodshed which inspire rebelliousness and delinquency in children.
