Pa Design: Portuguese mystique
Article Abstract:
Ne Santelmo and Ana Menezes explore the possibilities of graphic design at their firm Pa Design, opened in Oporto, Portugal, in 1990. The two designers started their business by creating an image for the textile fashion fair Portex. Their style has evolved from being highly experimental and romantic to being a more understated minimal feminine look, which they feel is much more effective. The two designers continue to thrive in the culturally blossoming climate of their Portuguese town.
