Bowling Green: endowed with education, rural work ethic
Article Abstract:
Bowling Green is productive town located 20 miles from Northwest Ohio. It is the seat of the Wood County government and home of the Bowling Green State University, an institution dedicated to improving and promoting industrial research. The major employers in the town are mostly involved in manufacturing such as Cooper Industrial Products, Automotive Industries and Green Manufacturing. Bowling Green's most attractive feature in terms of costs is its inexpensive electricity, owing to its own electrical distribution facilities. However, its location on I-75 and proximity to the Ohio Turnpike makes it a suitable location for distribution companies.

The approaching industrial land shortfall
Article Abstract:
The shortage of properly prepared industrial land will soon be a problem of the US if immediate steps are not taken to remedy the situation. Left unattended, the problem will hurt companies' expansion plans. Although many properties show potential as industrial sites, they cannot fit a firm's expansion plan if they are only half-ready. Some of the causes of slow development of industrial sites are faster land absorption and slower resupply, deregulation, misplaced use of community resources and reluctance to invest.
