Building a healthy heart
Article Abstract:
There have been mixed reactions among property agents in Liverpool, England, to a report commissioned by Healey & Baker indicating that 100,000 sq mt of new retail development should take place in an area to the south of the prime pitch of Church Street. Some observers believe that such a development would be too large, creating imbalance in the city's stock of retail property. However, the city council's City Centre Development Team believes that the scheme is the way forward. There is still quite strong demand for leisure property in the city, and hotel operators are now taking Liverpool more seriously.
