CSC - shopping for success
Article Abstract:
The retail sales growth rate of Lakeside, a Capital Shopping Centre in Thurrock, UK, is expected to be around 20% for 1995, following the previous years' growth at the same rate. Other centres in the South include the Harlequin in Watford, the Glades in Bromley and the Potteries in Trent. A key feature of the management strategy is that retail unit rents are turnover related, which means that rents can be rescheduled if necessary during poor cash flow periods.
