Private prosecutions may also be brought by the public if a breach of statutory duty can be proved. The European Environment Agency governs international pollution legislation.

Tax treaty implications of non-recourse sales of credit
Article Abstract:
It is important to use the most beneficial tax treaty when dealing with cross-border sales of credit. Advantages can be obtained when more than two companies are involved, as long as all are resident in different countries. This is known as a triangular transaction, and involves appling treaty taxation law to the company which is making the purchase. Bilateral cross-border transactions need to assess which treaty income needs to be assessed with relation to each company.
