Congress hands NAR 11th-hour victory on FHA loan limits

NAR's grassroots lobbying efforts paid off when Congress passed the law that, if approved by Pres Clinton, could increase FHA loan limits. The law seeks to expand single-family home loans from $170,362 to $197,620 in high-cost areas and from $86,317 to $109,032 in lower-cost areas.
