Dome's stay scenarios
Article Abstract:
Six bidders have put forward their plans for the Millenium Dome, Greenwich, England. The plans will have to be approved by the New Millennium Experience Co and English Partnerships and the winner will be announced by the end of the summer 2000. The current exhibitions in the dome, which comprises of 28 acres around the 20 acre dome building, are due to close, possibly in December 2000, and be replaced by a permanent exhibition. Ideas for the dome range from a sports dome to a hi-tech workspace. The cost of the dome is likely to be around 50-100 million pounds sterling.
