Eyes on the horizon
Article Abstract:
Stanhope PlC Director Stuart Lipton is very critical of the UK property development industry, which he suggests is many years behind the times compared with the marketing and customer service given with other products. Lipton set up his property development company, Stanhope PLC, with Peter Rogers and David Camp in 1995 following the failure of Stanhope Properties. The new company focuses on small projects mainly in London, England. Lipton points out that during his 10 years working at Stanhope Properties only 10 projects were completed due to their complexity and size.
