Fading independents
Article Abstract:
Many of the major firms are looking to move into offices in Soho, London, England, offices because of its modern image. Demand from the large businesses has caused rents to rise and some of the small media companies are having to look elsewhere for office space. Rents for grade A space are predicted to reach 48.50 pounds sterling per sq ft by the year 2000. There is little speculative development going ahead. Large office buildings are hard to find in the area, offices with floor space of more than 54,000 sq ft are unavailable.
