Leisure development
Article Abstract:
Property firms are showing increasing interest in leisure schemes, believing that this sector offers not only investment income, but also development opportunities. The leisure market covers sectors such as visitor attractions, theme parks, family entertainment centres, and it is the second two categories which are attracting particular interest from the property sector. However, the leisure property sector has very definite characteristics, with a different life cycle to other property sectors and a dependence on technology, and should not be managed like other sectors.
