MOD reassesses Gunwharf bids
Article Abstract:
The UK MOD is planning a mixed development of residential, commercial and leisure facilities on its 12.14 ha Gunwharf site in Portsmouth, England. The scheme is being delayed because of a conflict with Portsmouth city council, which has stated that some of the bids put forward are not acceptable in planning terms. Tendering originally closed in Aug 1996, but has now had to be reopened.
