Companies must develop new strategies to fill their future labor supply needs. Businesses face numerous new challenges as a result of the entry of nontraditional employees, the decline of labor-force growth, an increase in poorly educated workers and other factors. Major trends, including labor supply and demand, opportunities and liabilities, are examined.
