Stemming the tide
Article Abstract:
North Kent, England, is not likely to experience many speculative office building developments although there are a few new offices available. Demand for office space is from local companies. Some new offices are being built at Admiral's Park. Three new speculative buildings are planned for Edison's Park which has its own access to the M25 motorway. Gravesend and Dartford town centres are likely to be adversely affected by the Bluewater leisure and retail facility. Gravesend's local authorities are encouraging new shopping outlets into the town centre through a special initiative.

Slow on the uptake
Article Abstract:
The popularity of office developments in Chelmsford, Essex, England, is causing the market for offices in the north-eastern area of the M25 to decline, with a little demand and few vacant buildings. The Essex towns Brentwood and Romford have little office space available and demand is also fairly static. Local property agents point out at one time there was too much supply. Some new office development has gone ahead in Harlow, Essex, with a 12 acre site available for development.
