Making property deals can be very satisfying, according to Nigel Ross, joint chief executive of Compco Holdings with Robert Nadler. Ross purchases and sells properties at a very rapid pace, while Nadler focuses on administrative and financial issues. They form a very effective team, with Compco having achieved rental income of 3.57 million pounds sterling in the six months to Sep 1997. The company has a very diverse property portfolio, including the headlease on 225 mt of the seafront in Brighton, England.

The government is planning to merge the Welsh Development Agency, the Development Board for Rural Wales and the Land Authority for Wales.
