Article Abstract:
The Western Canada provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba have most of the country's natural resources. All four provinces are engaged in major programs to attract investors from inside and outside Canada. British Columbia accounts for most of Canada's exports to Asia, Alberta's labor force is the country's most productive, Manitoba is in the process of further developing a world-class investment climate while Saskatchewan has little government regulation, low taxes, affordable land, low wages and low cost of living.
