Who wants to be an auctioneer?...I do!
Article Abstract:
Auctioneers are usually white, male and middle aged. Few auctioneers are women. There is no specific training programme so auctioneers have to learn their trade whilst doing the job. Most auctioneers begin as chartered surveyors before moving into auctioneering. There are few job vacancies in auctioneering but people can take part in charity auctions or enter auction competitions to get experience. Auctioneers must be confident, talkative and have an outgoing personality.

Suon: contender to the crown
Article Abstract:
The industrial park developer Suon is opening its new 120 acre park in Cambridge, UK, in direct competition with the popular Cambridge Science Park. The 100 million pounds sterling development can house 55,740 square meters of B1 research. It has allocated 40 acres for recreational use and a wildlife reserve. Rents will approximate 129 pounds per square meter, say rental agents, who openly admit to seeking business from the science park.
