A new twist in fashion
Article Abstract:
The first exhibition planned for architect Daniel Libeskind's proposed 'Spiral' extension to the Victoria and Albert museum in London, England, is entitled 'The Body.' This exhibition is split into 'Chameleon' and 'Ergonomics.' The former will look at changing the body form through transsexuality and prosthetics, while the latter will cover items that show the link between decoration, gender and sensuality. The extension will focus on orientation, education and contemporary design.

A bridge not far enough
Article Abstract:
The Royal Victoria Dock Bridge in London, England, spans 360 mt of the Thames but does not quite reach the shore on the other side. The original plan was to build out from the shore, but the bridge is now connected to the land by a jetty. The bridge, designed by Alex Lifschutz, is very attractive, but has fallen victim to the fact that plans by property developer Excel to construct a very large exhibition centre on the north shore have had to be abandoned.
