A peak through clouds
Article Abstract:
Kinder Scout, which is situated 2,088 feet above sea level in England's Peak District, is a very significant place in the history of the ramblers' movement in the UK. It was the destination of a march in 1932 by around 500 people who were protesting against the fact that ordinary members of the public were not free to roam the countryside. The Peak District, along with many other parts of the countryside in the UK, is now open to ramblers as a direct result of the march to Kinder Scout.

The battle of the Costas

The area around Cape Trafalgar in southern Spain remains relatively undiscovered by tourists from the UK. The terrain is dominated by the stark mountains of the Sierra del Cabrito, but is broken up by many white villages. The attractions of the area include Barbate, an unspoilt beach and fishing port.
