A very British space crew
Article Abstract:
Space adventure series 'Blake's Seven' was never as popular as 'Star Trek,' even though it followed similar themes. This is possibly because the series had an undercurrent of violence and despair, in contrast with the optimism of 'Star Trek.' However, 'Blake's Seven' has become a minor cult, with a fan club, conventions and several Internet sites. There is also shortly to be a one-off 'Blake's Seven' special on Radio 4. This will bring together most of the original cast in a story called 'The Sevenfold Crown.'

Article Abstract:
BBC Radio faces a number of problems, many of which are technical. BBC news has moved to a new building and this has led to some problems, There have been fluctuations in sound levels, voices broadcast on air that were meant to be off air, and programs have disappeared with no explanation for listeners. There is a shortage of sound engineers, and producers have become more involved with editing using desk top digital technology, which may prove too great an addition to the workload of some producers.
