Because it might be out there
Article Abstract:
It remains uncertain whether George Mallory and Andrew Irvine, who disappeared near the summit of Mount Everest in Jun 1924, ever actually reached the summit. It is believed that Mallory's body lies on a high ledge at around 26,000 feet. He was carrying a Vest-Pocket Kodak camera in his knapsack, and if it were possible to retrieve this camera, then evidence could be obtained about whether Mallory and Irvine did actually reach the summit. A new expedition to the North Face is being organized specifically to find the camera.

Rocks of ages
Article Abstract:
The Isle of Arran has been attracting tourists for many years. However, it still retains great natural beauty. It has an extremely long history, having been an island before the mainland of the UK became detached from the rest of Europe. It is particularly worth cycling around the island's 56-mile coast road, as this allows the visitor to gain a strong overall impression. The island has extremely attractive mountains, and the visitor is aware that little has changed there for many centuries.

Looking down on Creation
Article Abstract:
There is little evidence of the modern world in Bhutan, the mountain kingdom situated between Tibet and India. The local people are still obliged by law to wear traditional national costume, and the scenery remains completely unspoilt. The countryside is beautiful, and it is well worth visiting the country's ancient monastery-fortresses. Travelling in Bhutan is very much like going back in time, with many areas being largely uninhabited.
