Germany's wurst hangover
Article Abstract:
The annual Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, attracts visitors from across the world, particularly Australia and New Zealand. In 1997, there were 14 beer, food and wine tents. The Hofbrauhaus-Festhalle tent can be very crowded and noisy, and contains many non-Germans behaving riotously. However, other tents have a more relaxed atmosphere. Attractions also include a funfair, where there are many old-fashioned Bavarian entertainments.
