Film producer and business executive Dodi Fayed grew up in extremely privileged surroundings. He was educated at the exclusive Le Rosay school in Switzerland, and then trained at the military academy in Sandhurst, England. He obtained a commission in the United Arab Emirates air force, and was stationed in London, England, where he was a leading figure among fashionable young people. He relished his celebrity status, but was also a quiet, introspective man.

Ken Hughes

Film director and writer Kenneth Hughes was born in Liverpool, England, in 1922. He worked as a cinema projectionist before joining BBC radio at the age of 16, becoming a sound engineer. He made training films during the second world war, and his first documentary was produced in 1944.

Michael Ritchie

Film director Michael Ritchie was born in Waukesha, WI, in 1938. After studying at Berkeley and Harvard, he became assistant director on the Ford Foundation's television series 'Omnibus.' He later became director on the 'Profiles in Courage' series.
