Final departure from King's Cross?
Article Abstract:
Artists' cooperative Cubbitt, founded in 1991 and based in the King's Cross station area of London, England, faces an uncertain future. Its current site is being reclaimed by the landlords as part of an extensive redevelopment project, and it is under great pressure to find a new building. The cooperative has become closely linked with the King's Cross area, and the King's Cross Partnership would like it to remain nearby. However, no alternative building is currently available.

Ireland's final frontier: it's all in the mind
Article Abstract:
Northern Ireland's constitutional nationalists constantly find themselves torn between their commitment to Irish-based cultural and political ideals and their unwilingness to show support for the violent tactics used by the IRA. This is a familiar problem in a country which has been divided for many years. The whole population has become accustomed to living in both the Ireland of their dreams and the real Ireland at the same time.

Will the final frontiers move ever outwards?
Article Abstract:
The first pictures back from the Hubble Space Telescope are disappointing, although some exciting discoveries have been made. Manufacturing flaws and thermal shock are affecting the telescope but despite this, a large black hole has been found in galaxy M87, large amounts of boron have been detected in old stars and an accurate measurement made of Deuterium. Corrective work will be carried out on the telescope in Dec 1993.
