Want to look like Kate Moss?

Article Abstract:

Smoking changes body shape, according to physiologist Alex Milne. It boosts the waist-to-hip ratio, creating fat around the waist. This is why many smokers, although they are not heavy, have a pot-belly. This theory is supported by the charity Action on Smoking and Health, which states that smokers store the normal amount of fat in an abnormal way. This body-fat distribution can bring a raised risk of health problems such as heart disease and diabetes.

Things to make you go 'Om.'

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly widely recognized that regular chanting can have a beneficial impact on health, reducing blood pressure and helping to deal with stress. Some people find that chanting is the first step towards a much healthier lifestyle, as it makes it easier for them to give up smoking, drugs and alcohol and to eat more healthily. They find that chanting gradually becomes part of their everyday life, making them feel much calmer.
