Fight off the first-job blues
Article Abstract:
It is quite common for graduates to feel that they have made the wrong decision after they have been in their first job for around a year. Experts advise that people in this situation should not simply try to find another job, but instead take a more positive approach and try to find solutions. However, there are certain danger signs that indicate a change of job may be necessary. These include a lack of enthusiasm for work and no sense of satisfaction with what has been achieved. Finding another job when you are already in the job market is easier than finding the first job.

Keep driving, he said
Article Abstract:
Graduates who take a job which involves driving long distances should be aware that they can easily come very tired, thus placing themselves in danger of having an accident. Most employers do not regard this problem as their responsibility. The UK Health and Safety Executive has commissioned a wide-reaching review of legislation relevant to this issue, and has stated that the Health and Safety at Work Act could be extended to make employers responsible for staff who are involved in accidents.
