Frailty, thy name is Williamson
Article Abstract:
Rev Paul Williamson, priest in Charge of Hanwell, east London, England, has launched a number of lawsuits against the Church of England since 1994. He is strongly opposed to women priests, and claims that the ordination of women is contrary to the doctrine of the Church of England. Most recently, he is suing the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral for appointing Rev Lucy Winkett as canon. The main issue is whether the Church of England's General Synod was within its rights to change the interpretations of doctrine in the Church of England to permit the ordination of women.

The clergymen came out two by two
Article Abstract:
The issue of gay priests continues to cause serious splits in the Church of England. This is causing great damage to its position within British society, as it no longer stands for a clear body of doctrine which people can either accept or reject. There are clear differences between what Church leaders say in private and their public stance on the issue, and this is causing further controversy.
