Good vibrations, man
Article Abstract:
Asian musician Talvin Singh, who won the 1999 Mercury music prize for his album 'OK,' regards his sound as reinventing what appeals to the non-resident Indian. He recalls that he was fascinated by Indian culture, particularly Indian music, from an early age, even though he was actually born and raised in the UK. He is not certain whether he will record another album, and is currently writing a film. He regards himself as being very expressive, and likes to be free to respond to his emotions.

A rich source of enlightenment
Article Abstract:
Indian mysticism fills a gap in conventional western medicine, according to doctor and best-selling author Deepak Chopra. He published his first book himself in the mid-1980s, and has now become extremely popular in the US, where he lectures frequently and appears on television. He has influenced many well-known people with his mixture of the ancient Hindu system of Ayurvedic medicine, western philosophy, strong rhetoric and existential reflection.
