Algerians hope election will heal the wounds of civil war
Article Abstract:
It is anticipated that the political situation in Algeria could become more stable as a result of elections to find a successor to outgoing President Liamine Zeroual. It is almost certain that the winner will be Abdelaziz Bouteflika, who was Foreign Minister in the 1970s. He has the support of Algerian army generals and of the FLN, the former ruling party. Some observers have expressed concern about electoral fraud.

So which is the real Bill Clinton?
Article Abstract:
President Bill Clinton claims to be a supporter of the advancement of women, but does not put this approach into practice, according to Dee Dee Myers, a former aide to the president. Within the White House itself, women still find it very hard to make progress in their career. These claims come at a politically sensitive time, when Bill Clinton is making great efforts to win the vote of women.
