How long do we put up with feminists behaving badly?

Feminism can be a very positive trend, but the attitudes of some feminists are in danger of giving it a negative image. Some feminists fail to address the complexities of real experiences and make the mistake of presuming to tell men and women what they ought to be. Their stance means that they are adding to the problems of sexism, rather than finding solutions. There are clearly still gender inequalities, but this does not mean that all men are basically bad. It is now time for feminists to stop expecting men to have to live up to impossibly high standards.

Football fans are often portrayed as racist, violent and sexist, and many blacks and Asians prefer to stay away from football matches in order to avoid racial abuse. However, the reality of a trip to a football match can be a pleasant surprise. There is a generally friendly, exciting atmosphere, and a large part of the crowd is made up of couples and families. All generations share the experience together, and any signs of trouble are usually quickly dealt with by officials and the police.
