'I'd run naked down Oxford Street to finance a film.' (film producer Paul Brooks)(Interview)
Article Abstract:
Film producer Paul Brooks had to work extremely hard to obtain enough money to make the film 'Clockwork Mice,' which opens soon at 60 cinemas in the UK. He refused to admit defeat, even though he often felt that he was the only person who really believed in the project. He believes that the UK has a very negative culture, with people not prepared to put their faith in projects which seem very daunting. His extremely positive attitude has allowed him to make four films in three years.

Article Abstract:
Film producer Zalman King has attracted very mixed reactions. He regards himself as the pioneer of the erotic romantic genre, but others see his films are little more than pornographic. He was initially an actor, but is now involved in writing, producing, directing and publishing. He believes that his films are built on emotions, and this is what dominates their sex scenes, not pure erotica.

He sure ain't no Taranteenie
Article Abstract:
The film 'Little Odessa' closely reflects the background of its director, James Gray. It traces his parents' problems in being Jewish in Russia and then Russian in the US, and the main characters seem isolated from ordinary society. He realises that this kind of film-making is rather unfashionable, but he firmly believes that there is a potential audience for his kind of work.
