Inaction man
Article Abstract:
French actor Alain Delon appeared in a number of lightweight romantic comedies early in his career, but did not fully establish his reputation until he played the anti-hero in Rene Clement's 1960 film 'Plein Soleil.' This film launched Delon's international career and ensured that he was associated with a key period of cinematic creativity. Later in his career, his most successful film was 'Nouvelle Vague,' his 1990 collaboration with director Jean-Luc Godard.

I shall never forget that silence when I finished the last line
Article Abstract:
Actor Ian Richardson tells of his first public performance, in church on Armistice Day when he was 12 years old. He was required to read out four lines of verse, and did so extremely well, prompting many predictions that he would grow up to be an actor. His father was opposed to this idea, but his mother allowed him to join an amateur dramatic society. He began to adopt a much more cultured Scottish accent and later joined the Forces broadcasting service.
