It's only words 'n' all but I like it
Article Abstract:
American writer Cormac McCarthy's novel 'Suttree' made Bavarian social worker Roland Kopp feel as if a film had begun to run in his head. He joined with fellow social worker Michael Stroll to make a record inspired by the novel. This became the album 'Music for a Still Undone Movie Maybe Called "Suttree".' Kopp felt as if he simply had to undertake this project, and he and Kopp even went as far as to visit all the places described in the novel. They found that local people in these places did not really care about the novel at all.

Beyond the pale
Article Abstract:
The Original Dixieland Jazz Band made the first ever jazz recording on Feb 26, 1917. This record, which has songs entitled 'Livery Stable Blues' and 'Dixie Jass Band One Step,' is still very interesting to listen to. It is technically true to state that this white band was copying the black styles current in New Orleans, but this does not detract from the music. It has great energy and rhythmic drive, and is mainly intended as dance music.
