Joyce Compton was an actress who studied at Tulsa University before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in motion pictures. She appeared in 'What Fools Men', a silent movie, in 1925, and 'Dangerous Curves', a talkie, in 1929. She was signed by Mack Sennett to appear in comedies, and then made a number of feature films, including "Sky Murder' in which she played a female detective. After 1948 she was offered fewer good parts, and she retired after "Girl in the Woods', made in 1958.

Actor, director and novelist Robert Ludlum was born in New York, NY, in 1927. He gained a BA in Fine Arts at Wesleyan University in Middleton, CT, after serving in the South Pacific between 1945 and 1947. He established himself as an actor during the 1950s.
