Actress Kay Thompson entered radio as a vocal arranger and performer. She spent some time as a singer-arranger with Fred Waring's group, and then created a vocal group of her own and obtained her own radio show. In the mid-1940s, she was employed by Roger Edens to work as a vocal coach and arranger. When her contract ended, she formed a night-club act constructed as a miniature revue. She was cast in the 1957 film 'Funny Face' and in the 1970 film 'Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon.'

Actress Eva Bartok made her film debut in a Hungarian film, 'Mezet Profeta,' in 1947. Film producer Alexander Paal helped her to escape from Hungary, and gave her a leading role in the 1951 film 'A Tale of Five Cities.' One of her best remembered films, 'The Crimson Pirate,' was released in 1952. She went to Hollywood to appear in the musical 'Ten Thousand Bedrooms' in 1956. She gave up acting in 1968, taking her daughter to live in Jakarta, Indonesia, but returned to acting in 1974.

Marguerite Chapman

Actress Marguerite Chapman gained modelling work in New York, NY, after beginning her working life as a typist and switchboard operator. She was subsequently signed by Fox, and made her screen debut in the 1940 film 'On Their Own.' She worked briefly at Warners before being signed by Columbia. Her first lead in a major film came in 1943, when she appeared in 'Destroyer.' She began to appear frequently on television in the 1950s, and also started to work in small theatres.
