Faith Domergue
Article Abstract:
Actress Faith Domergue attracted the attention of Howard Hughes shortly after leaving school in 1942. He signed her to a long-term contract, and she spent over three years studying voice, diction and drama. She was cast in the leading role in 'Vendetta,' but this proved a very distressing experience. She spent some time in Argentina with her husband, director Hugo Fregonese, but returned to Hollywood to take the lead in 'Where Danger Lives.' Her most successful year was 1955, when she appeared in 'This Island Earth,' 'It Came From Beneath the Sea,' 'Cult of the Cobra' and 'Santa Fe Passage.'
