Lord Wyatt of Weeford
Article Abstract:
Politician and journalist Woodrow Wyatt read Law at Worcester College, Oxford, England, and then fought in the second world war, becoming a major by 1944. He became a Labour supporter, and became MP for Birmingham Aston in 1945. He wrote for the Tribune and the New Statesman, and was a strong supporter of the left wing. He later moved away from the left wing, and lost his seat in 1955. He returned as MP for Bosworth in 1959, but lost this seat in 1970.

Politician Ilie Verdet was born in Comanesti, Romania, in 1925. He joined the Romanian Communist Party in 1945, and was Prime Minister between 1979 and 1982.
