Mr and Mrs David Helfgott are very much at home
Article Abstract:
Pianist David Helfgott, who has a nervous disorder, has not been exploited, according to his wife Gillian. He is in control of his own life, and is not merely a puppet. She firmly believes that he loves being a concert pianist, and feels that he should not be moulded to the expectations of others. She regards him as an extraordinary person, and feels that it is her destiny to be his partner. His playing appeals to many people, and he seems to have the ability to spread great joy.

Blood, guts and a nice line in serial killers
Article Abstract:
There is a lot of satisfaction to be gained from giving somebody an identity, according to pathologist and thriller writer Kathy Reichs. She greatly dislikes having to admit that she cannot give a name to a body she has examined. Her work is reflected in considerable detail in her thriller 'Deja Dead,' which has become a bestseller. She shows great familiarity with her subject matter, and this means that parts where the plot becomes rather convoluted do not really matter.

Vile bodies?
Article Abstract:
Channel 4's 'Vile Bodies' series has attracted very strong reactions. It includes three programmes based around the themes of death, children and nakedness. These cover the work of artists such as Sally Mann, whose photographs of her own children have been the subject of considerable controversy, and Nick Waplington, who re-stages suicides. Series producer Adam Barker is keen to challenge viewers' ideas about what a normal body is.
