Tazio Secchiaroli
Article Abstract:
Photographer Tazio Secchiaroli was in the 1950s one of a group of street photographers in Rome, Italy, who made a living from photographing American film stars. He was the model for the character Paparazzo in Fellini's 1960 film 'La Dolce Vita.' His first big scoop came in Aug 1958, when in the same night he came into conflict with King Farouk of Egypt, actor Anthony Franciosa and Anita Ekberg. He greatly impressed Fellini with his photographs of Rome's nightlife.
