Polyester film in heating
Article Abstract:
Flexwatt Corp makes heating films that consist of special carbon inks printed on sheets of polyester. The films transfer heat well, have no hot spots, and heat evenly, up to 90 degrees C or 110 degrees if no polyester is laminated on top of the strips. Copper bus bars run along the ends of the printed strips, linking them as individual heaters in a parallel circuit. The strips can be printed in any pattern or density; typically, 66% of the surface is covered.
