Wisdom doesn't change with the passing of the years
Article Abstract:
Many elderly people feel that society has not really improved since they were young. They welcome advances in medical treatment, and also enjoy the television and the radio, but feel that life has in fact got worse in many ways. They do not like the frenetic pace of modern life, and also regret the modern obsession with sex. The aspirations they had as children and young adults are very similar to those of the same groups of people in today's society.
