One-horned refugees shelter from the flood threatening to wipe out a species
Article Abstract:
Extensive flooding at the Kaziranga National Park in Assam, India, is posing a serious threat to 1,164 great Indian one-horned rhinos. This population accounts for around 70% of the world population of these rhinos. Some have been drowned or swept away, while others have fled. Staff at the park worked extremely hard to increase the number of these rhinos, but now much of the park's infrastructure has been destroyed. There is also a serious danger of opportunistic poaching.

The plutocrats
Article Abstract:
The UK Labour party is set to depend increasingly on self-made business leaders such as Lord Hollick, owner of MAI. Such people will make financial contributions to the party, and will also encourage some of the wealthiest people in the UK to support Labour. Most recently, Bob Gavron, multi-millionaire printer and publisher, has made a large donation to the party.
