Paul Guth

Writer and journalist Paul Guth began writing at an early age. He studied literature and classics at Lycee Louis-le-Grand in Paris, France, and graduated with distinction from the Faculte des Lettres de Paris in 1933. His first book, 'Autour des Dames du Bois de Boulogne: journal d'un film,' was published in 1945. His charming, humorous books made him extremely popular, and he became particularly well known for a leading character who is now always associated with him.

Shin'ichi Hoshi
Article Abstract:
Writer Shin'ichi Hoshi studied agriculture at Tokyo University, Japan, and joined the family pharmaceutical business. He published his first short story in the pioneering science fiction magazine Uchujin in 1957, and benefited from the fact that science fiction began to become established in comics and animated cartoons. His first collection, 'Jinzo Bijin,' was published in 1958, and he wrote 1,000 stories, a world record, by 1983.

Professor Yuji Aida
Article Abstract:
Writer, scholar and journalist Yuji Aida graduated from the Department of Literature at Kyoto University, Japan, and was for some time assistant professor at Kobe University, Japan. In 1939 he became Professor of Humanities at the Intercultural Studies Centre at Kyoto University. He gained a reputation for being outspoken, being particularly critical of pretentiousness and bureaucracy. He both wrote and spoke extremely eloquently.
