Professor Donald McKenzie
Article Abstract:
Bibliographer and teacher Donald McKenzie began his working life as an apprentice in the Public Relations Dept of the Post Office. He studied English part-time at Victoria University College, and subsequently came to Cambridge University, England, as a research student. He returned to New Zealand after gaining his PhD, and in 1969 became Professor of English Language and Literature at Victoria University College. He established the Wai-te-ata Press in Wellington, New Zealand, in 1962.

Raymond Lister
Article Abstract:
Craftsman and writer Raymond Lister was born in Cambridge, England, in 1919. He was apprenticed to the family architectural ironmongery firm at the age of 15, and in 1955 founded the Golden Head Press.
